It's All Happening Now.

Hello, remember a while ago when I plinked about Thomas Truax's Album Launch Campaign? Well it worked! The album has been released and I have the warm glow of satisfaction that comes with making a tangible difference, albeit a small one. It's really good by the way, I advise you to get hold of it if you haven't already.

Anyway, now it's time for phase two. Here's the plan as laid out by the man himself:

"We're going to upload 'It's All Happening Now' to Youtube on TUESDAY,and we're hoping you'll watch it! We're also going to try and get all our friends, supporters, dogs, kittens, goldfish and, of course, zombies to go on youtube to watch it and comment on it and try to boost it into a 'most viewed' category on that day. With a little luck and some concentrated effort, we hope it will take flight and find a larger audience. Aside from my own selfish agenda, Keith and all the talented people he brought in for the project really deserve to get noticed. Loads of time and energy went into making this little film, and it was all done for love...(and, of course, BRAIIINNNNS!!!)"

If you're wondering about the 'brains' comment, it relates to the presence of zombies in the video. A while back, when it was being made there was an open casting call for people to be in the video dressed as a zombie and as much as I'd like to tell you I was there, I wasn't able to make it.

However, it's still a truly excellent video for a truly excellent song. Check it out, click on 'like', help me to help him. Again!

Thank you.

I Didn't Mean It, Colin.

Hello, sorry for the radio silence lately. I've been on my travels. Back now though with a link that wasn't even found by me. Terrible slacking, I know. My good friend Andy showed me this trailer:

The film, as I'm sure you've just seen, is called Colin and it's a zombie film shown from the perspective of one of the shambling undead. An interesting concept. It looks remarkably impressive too, considering that the budget was only £45! Hopefully I'll be able to find somewhere to see this. You should try too. More info on the film at the production company's website HERE.

Updates.

Today is gonna be a little bit different. Instead of finding new stuff for you, I'm reminding you of previous cool things du jour that have made exciting steps forward.

A while ago, when I linked you to the teaser site for the new, Brooker-penned zombiethon 'Dead Set', there was nothing but a trailer and a countdown timer. Well the countdown has reached zero and there is a wealth of new stuff. More trailers, etc and cast info (which reveals that the actor Kevin Eldon is going to be in it. Hooray!), so check it out. Also I recommend you click the 'Get Infected' link for an additional video. In fact, I'll just link straight to it. Click!

...and now for something completely different. Homestar Runner to be precise. The SBEmail series has reached its 200th episode. Which is a pretty big deal if you're a fan of the site. The site has been running for nearly 9 years now, and it keeps going strong.

Oh, and while I'm updating people on things... I still need sponsors! The Great South Run is looming and I'd like to raise as much money as possible. So Dig Deep!

Thanks.

This is an Automated Message.

Beep.
This is a posthumous message from Paul Nelson. He spontaneously combusted earlier today but recorded this message to be delivered to his blog in the event of his untimely demise.

"Hey guys, I just found something magical. Anyone who has read this blog before or even just listened to me talk for a while will know 2 things for certain. I like zombies and I like Charlie Brooker. So, the news that the latter is scripting a tv series about the former made me squeal with delight. I'm about to watch the trailer and thought it best to write this now in case something untoward happens. If you want to see for yourself, the website is Here. It's going to be called 'Dead Set' and I'd bet money on it being fantastic. Just click the eye to see the trailer."
