Plinx Quickie.

Yes, another one. I should have internet back by Thursday and normal service will be resumed but until then I am going to chuck the odd curio at you from wherever I can get online.

This is one that I just found on twitter. More specifically I found it because my good friend Aardvark put it there. Now I am sharing it with you. Internet in action, right here.

Anyway, here we go. It's a comparison chart which comprehensively proves why Optimus Prime is better than Jesus.

I would also have added that 'Transform and Roll Out' is a much better catchphrase than 'The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart' which is frightfully clunky and doesn't stick in the mind half as well.

Case closed.

Instrumental.

Dang, I'm kind of falling behind a bit. I think I'm getting old. Now I'm 25, it's a wonder I can still work an internet, let alone contribute to it in such a strapping, handsome way.

So today is a borrowed plink. Borrowed from Andy to be precise. So thanks, dude.

It's an article about an instrument called an Eigenharp. It's wholly remarkable and capable of making a vast number of different noises, but rather than trying to describe them onomatopoeia-style, check it out for yourself. There's a video and everything.

The best quote though is this:

"Described by its developers as 'the most expressive electronic musical instrument ever made'.

One of my colleagues calls it more simply 'a sci-fi bassoon'."

So yeah, Looky Here.

Hee Hee Hebrew.

Hmm, not much I can say about this one. You'll know whether you want to click it as soon as I tell you the URL. Click or don't click. Ball is in your court now, schmucks.

Thanks to Graham Linehan's Twitter for the link.

I Didn't Mean It, Colin.

Hello, sorry for the radio silence lately. I've been on my travels. Back now though with a link that wasn't even found by me. Terrible slacking, I know. My good friend Andy showed me this trailer:

The film, as I'm sure you've just seen, is called Colin and it's a zombie film shown from the perspective of one of the shambling undead. An interesting concept. It looks remarkably impressive too, considering that the budget was only £45! Hopefully I'll be able to find somewhere to see this. You should try too. More info on the film at the production company's website HERE.
